The smartphone industry has become one of the essential industries in 2020
COVID-19 has changed everything. For many of us, life is on hold — and will likely continue to be for months. I’m writing this from my home and you are most probably reading this from home too, lots of people in different industries lost their jobs and many others are working from home .lots of countries are going through complete or partial lockdown, to ensure social distancing yet we need to stay connected
with a deeper look, this is a great time for competition between smartphone producers
here comes Samsung with The Galaxy M series was a game-changer for Samsung in the budget category.
And today we are going to introduce you, the Megamonestr Samsung Galaxy M31
Samsung decided to stay at the top of the market and stay updated with the rising trends in the industry. Besides launching a standard model of a device in the series like the Galaxy M10 and M30, the company later decided to bring more variants of budget smartphones like the Galaxy M10s and Galaxy M31.
Today, we’re checking out the new Galaxy M31, the newest entry in Samsung’s M-Series.
Design & Build Quality
The Galaxy M31 has a polycarbonate body that comes in clean and basic colores. Samsung has decided to stay away from flashy patterns and textures in the back as we’ve been seeing in most of the budget phones nowadays, It’s light in weight too. You can easily reach out to the fingerprint sensor and continue using the phone with one hand. All the buttons also find their place on the left side, making it convenient to shuffle through apps and lock the phone quickly.
Samsung Galaxy M31 Display:
one of the wisest decisions Samsung has made for the Galaxy M phones is bringing AMOLED displays to provide proper brightness instead of the cheap LCD panels that come in most of the budget smartphones, Galaxy M31 offers adequate brightness in both under low-lighting conditions and direct sunlight
The 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display on the Galaxy M31 is excellent. It has wide viewing angles, vivid colors, deep blacks, and pretty good brightness levels that only fall short in the harshest of sunlight.
Samsung Galaxy M31 performance:
The Galaxy M31 is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 9611 chipset. which is a tried-and-tested SoC and had proven to be very good at handling a mid-range phone. So the M31 runs smoothly for day-to-day usage with little to no lags or stutters. The software is the latest Android 10 based on One UI 2.0. with 6GB RAM on both 64GB as well as the 128GB internal storage
Gaming performance is pretty good in titles like Call of Duty and PUBG, at least at the default graphics setting.with its Mali-G72 MP3 GPU
Galaxy M31 battery life
With a 6,000 mAh battery under the hood, it’s no wonder the Galaxy M31 can last a really long time on a single charge. Even if you’re pushing the phone to its limit, you’ll have a hard time killing the phone in one day. And with a not-so-heavy usage, you can even squeeze two days. Yes, it’s that good.
The Galaxy M31 also supports 15W charging. I mean, it’s a huge battery so faster charging speed doesn’t help that much, but now it’ll take you about two and half hours to fully charge the phone from a dead state.
Galaxy M31 camera
The Galaxy M31 sports a quad-camera setup .that includes a 64MP shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and two 5MP sensors for depth and macro shots. The photos taking during the daytime with good lighting turned out really nice. There’s plenty of details in each image with a good dynamic range.
For selfies, the Galaxy M31 has a 32MP camera for more details in your selfies
The portrait images were also on-point with good edge-detection and focus. And with a little bit of effort, I think you can take some really images in low-light conditions too.
